Mamata knows the pulse of her people

She recently completed 100 days as the chief minister of Paschim Banga and from the time she has been sworn in as the chief minister, she made it a point to win the heart of the mass through her work and even through her talks. She visited hospitals without any prior information and indeed created a turmoil in the corrupted hospitals and among the corrupted doctors. She made it a point to remove pass-fail till class 8 in government schools, although this won her the hearts of many students but actually she destroyed their future. but winning hearts is her aim.

The hills and the junglemahal were highly disturbed and even after many trials these places could not be cooled down. However within a few days of her ministry with a few meetings both this centers of terror became absolutely peaceful, as if she did some magic. Atleast what we are seeing, these places are peaceful now, rest we do not need to know. She has even promised 10000 jobs to the people of the junglemahal alone. Of course its a very tough job to give 10000 jobs to only those people but at least she is trying.

She is celebrating the death and birth anniversaries of our heroes - Nazrul, Rabindranath, Khudiram and more. She has even promised a world class Nazrul academy by 26 May '12. She herself tries hand at painting and good or bad she makes good revenues from them. She is now trying to be very calm and soft spoken with the police as she very well knows that she needs them to carry out her missions. She walks in the rain with the public, she does not bother about her security, she still wears those chappals and all these just strikes the right cords in public. She has made it a point to do whatever the previous Government did not do or could not do. However she could not get the pulse of the people when she made West Bengal, Paschim Banga. But the city development is concentrated only in Kolkata and we are not getting any such benefit, we cannot even understand that yes some change has occurred but i am keeping my fingers crossed.
